Yeah I am back on the blanket with my youngsters… Marble;
(She is pinning her ears at Ablaze, by the way, telling him to go away, she is working…)
By the time we got to actually training with the blanket though, Ablaze was so tired, he didn’t really join in. You see, he and his mother had discovered the best game ever! Blanket – chasing!
Trust me, it doesn’t get much funnier than this!
And it’s even a little scary, if you happen to, once in a while catch the blanket!
But not too scary, just the right amount, to make you come back for more!
Apocalipse thought they were having too much fun, so he decided to spoil it by ripping the blanket…
That only handed Ablaze a smaller piece he could totally attack!
Once he got it, he couldn’t figure out how to let go, and so it came after him!
He was quickly back in the game though…
And Saleem? He stays out of it, wisely. I am not forgetting about him though, it’s just with my obsessing on how to train him in the best possible way, I am busy trying out different things…
I’ll get to all my new theories and pictures of him in another post, soon.
I just had to share this with you. The best game ever!
I love these horses, their spirit, their curiosity, their courage and their positive attitude. This is in many ways, the perfect response, simply because they are so engaged in the game. That kind of engagement is something I hope I will never lose from the two of them.
Ablaze did get that bloody blanket in the end…
