Hello everybody!
I’m Veronica Merlin, the author of The Starstone Series, (released in Danish as well- Stjernestenen,) which is a fantasy series.

My book on my horses, Surviving the Equestrian World, is out too.
Check it out for an alternate way of thinking about, and training your horse.

I have a poetry collection, This Song, and a Short Story Collection published as well.

My Science/Fantasy series, The Legacy, is still a work in progress, with three out of five books released. I am writing on the last one at the moment.

I currently work as a script writer and photographer for Dark Mare Pictures.

I collect My Little Ponies, and I have an Anternate blog for them, to be found here, if anypony should love them as much as I do;

Yeah, I am a nerd, in case you were still wondering. Be it fantasy books, writing, music, TV series, photography, or horses, I never do anything without obsessing over it. I guess that is how I deal with my demons.

So here is a stupid selfie picture of my band, just because these girls mean the world to me and our music will always be an obsession of mine;

Our pre-Dark Mare music video, from 2010;

This is our video for The 69 Eyes video contest, to make the best fan video for the song, Kiss me Undead. My baby Apollon is the absolute star of the video 🙂 It is kind of a horrible quality, but I adore it just the same…

Oh yeah, I’m vegan, by the way. I’ve been told that we always throw that in peoples faces, so I better remember to do that.

Also, I despise the race track and most aspects of equestrian sport; I have been questioning FEI any chance I got. And I support LGBT and equal rights, now that we are at it.  So yeah, glad we got that settled.

So, if you think you can deal with all of that, welcome to my blog! And if you can’t, welcome anyway 🙂

    Just read your blog about Nevzorov. Perhaps it would be more productive to focus on what you can learn from Nevzorov. When someone loves horses as much as he does there must be something of value that speaks to you. Listen to your heart, ask your horse for help and you will find the magic. Just a thought.

      and there is, like I said, the first video was cool… although he is not willing to teach you anything… but if you want to discuss it, please comment on the post, not here 😉 I have got a feeling that we are not going to agree, as soon as you saw my show jumping pictures… 😉

  4. Hey there. Well, your blog is pretty unique. I haven’t met anyone else who writes about horses! And definitely not as passionately as you do! I’ve nominated you for the One Lovely Blog award at 🙂 I’m not sure if you accept award nominations?

  5. Enjoy your magic world! Amazing.

  6. Gorgeous pictures and I know what you mean about horses always getting into trouble! I’d love to learn more about natural horsemanship, I’ve been reading about it this year, and I’d love to improve my dressage – to improve my jumping 🙂

    • Starstone says:

      Thank you 🙂 and yes, dressage is a good way to improve your jumping 😉 hehe… the best reason for riding dressage at all 😉 You have a horse of your own?

      Hi, If I didn’t answer this, I am sorry. Of course you can. Two years too late. I just don’t think I have seen this comment before. I usually get emails about comments, but some of them end up in my spam filter, and I don’t know why. Sorry again.
